Do any of you do this? A quick google search led me to some websites that lead me to believe its a bigger thing than I thought (even a movie coming soon).
 
no. I knew some people who were into it in college, but it didn't appeal to me at all.

I enjoyed a good game of D&D back in the day, but my enjoyment came from sitting around a table with my friends for a couple hours shooting the shit, not from roleplaying.

Check out Monster Camp. It's a documentary I watched on Netflix on LARPing, one of those "holy shit, these people actually exist!" moments.



I just remembered, there's a scene in there where a dad seriously gives his daughter her allowance in fake LARP money.
 
So is this another topic that informs me that posting on this forum is not really LARPing? You guys are really bringing me down today, man. First the real personality versus forum stuff, and now this.
