Just because someone is barely on the card and doesn't even get polled does not mean that what they say has any less weight.

Not saying this guy does or doesn't mind you. I'm just saying in general.

At least that is how it is "supposed" to work. It just doesn't work like that since 99% of the time smaller parties or independants simply don't get a shot at public debates or forums etc with Dems/Reps (Libs/Cons).

The way politics in the US and elsewhere are run are just too deeply flawed to be truly democratic. They are more so in name and far less in practice.

Whew.... I looked at that title and had flashbacks to when KAMAZON was constantly posting threads about LaRouche. Then I saw it was CkG who was the originator. Don't scare me like that! 😉

Seriously though, LaRouche doesn't have much of a shot at winning the presidency. I do applaud him on his views on the two main candidates this November! He is dead-on there.

I wonder why folks think he or anyone else running have or has some unique insight into reality. Me thinks the platform that supports the candidate is what matters... not the candidate so much, as it may have been in the past.

The electoral college was created for a reason, to make Presidential candidates have to pay attention to people who don't live in the big cities. To win a state you need to appeal to everyone and not just city folks.
 
people who dont get the electoral college wont, if they dont like the american system let them move, the founding fathers were smart guys (not just those at the signing of the constitution) they knew what would be best, and have been right as far as i can tell.
 
It was wrong of the deems not to let him run as a potential nominee.

Just proves that the big-corporations own both sides and the only choice you have is between morality and decadence.

He seems to be kind of popular on the UW campus, at least more than Bush. But this is Seattle and the city is filled with lots of freaks.

He is one oddly weird bunny. That he has ardent followers just scares me.

Truth is, you could just about propose anything outrageous, and find ardent followers. Koresh, the KKK, Radical Islam. (Who was the guy that chopped his nuts off, then convinced all those people in CA to wear matching sneakers and off themselves to take the UFO?)
