They all come from carnivora and yuku, non educated people on tigers, just fans...lions are the tallest living cats averaging 5.5 inches taller than the tallest tigers S.T.

Jaipur was not 500 kg, he was 930 lbs, he peaked 1025 lbs. At max he was 466 kg.

An he was only 0.25% heavier than Sultan the lion that fluctuated from 900-1,000 lbs. Sultan would have looked much larger if they were neck an neck, being taller and a mane that increases his size by 45% since it extended down to his belly.

Sadly the data I've seen has bengal tigers as the current heaviest tiger in the wild, siberains average near 430 lbs, that would mean they are lighter, shorter, smaller in size to the largest african lion region 488lbs.

These scales are done by no other than bias lion hating tiger fanatics, I can't even call them fans of tigers since they soil the tigers good, name, the tiger already has the title as the heaviest cat, he doesnt need anyone over exagerating his status, but when you say heaviest, you can't automatically say largest, since a 6' foot man at 300 pounds will look larger than a 5'5 man whos 320 lbs.

So lets show some credible stuff.

Wow thats some of the biggest inaccuracy's I've ever seen in comparing the two, what are you comparing the worlds largest tigers vs the worlds smallest lions? On average the lion is bigger, heavier, taller and larger in size, at max the tiger is only 0.25% heavier.


But in size, the lion is both on average and at max the biggest living cat species of height, stature and size alive. Sultan would look 50% larger than Jaipur if they were next to each other, Jaipur looked no bigger than his weight at 1,000 lbs, Sultan at 1,000 lbs looked like a 1,500 lb Kodiak bear, compliments to his mane.
