Only downtown pictures I can find. City website is down because the downtown is without power and had bad damage.

Yeah, Kansas city was hit by a violent tornado as well with 5 deaths. 80 tornadoes in all have touched down as of Midnight Sunday.

Nothing so far on Sunday. On Saturday Haskell had a reported tornado.

For the most part Texas is not poised for an outbreak. There is a slighy risk for much of Eastern Texas, and the values are there. Haven't had timet look over model data for East Texas because I am concentrating on the northern half of alabama(where I live and where new storms are firing).

Does the downtown have any skyscrapers? What in general terms does the downtown area look like? I am trying to figure out how strong of a tornado it was.

I live in Memphis, TN...about an hour from Jackson. Last night was one crazy freakin strom !

At least 14 deaths in Jackson. 28 so far in the nation, not sure if CNN is reporting the new Jackson numbers.

CNN is the only News Network covering this on Cable TV. I guess foreign problems take precedent over domestic ones.

This is very sad to hear.

Texas is part of Tornado alley and this time of year can bring scary storms.

Unfortunately where I live is our Tornado alley. SouthWestern Ontario gets the majority of tornados in Canada. My city has been hit 3 times since I was born. Others have been devastated as well, like Woodstock (half of the city was destroyed).

I hope there are no more deaths from those storms.
