Gd. Pretty much ever since I moved in this house last May, our internet is so crappy that I large downloads always freeze and don't resume in Firefox. I tried getting tons of different demos and they would freeze often, especially if large file size. I'd rather use HTTP, but some sites offer torrent links to demos (torrents work fine), but in this case I've been trying to get WoW w/ the 10-day trial about 10 times now. I tried last night and it would always freeze somewhere with 100-700mb completion. Same thing today. For some reason, there is no resume feature? Basically I need a download manager like people used to use for dial-up. Wow, how crappy of cable is that when I need to resume files like that. What's out there now that would work for me?

Strange problem you're having. I had a different FF issue when a downloaded the same WoW trial file. Once the file hits 2GB+, the estimated time remaining and the KB/s values all screw up and go negative. The download finished intact though.

The file is 3,023,446,016 bytes. Do you have at least double that in free space? Did you try downloading to your other hard drives?

I don't think its that. Wasn't able to download it on my brothers computer either (Opera, same internet connection, but wireless). It never gets to 1GB downloaded even, always freezes way before that.
