Laptop within $1500

Well, since I'm sick of my laptop that I currently own, I'm looking to get something else. I'm willing to spend $1500 on one, and I want to play games at a good level, but not hardcore. I'll look into any suggestions. Thanks.

Well any laptop with decent gaming abilities will cost more than $1500...you could get into a Laptop with perhaps 9600 mobility graphics for under $1500. But for like a ati 9700 or x700 you will have to dig a little deeper.

You want something mobile or a DTR?
For DTR gaming, go with the 9300.
For mobile gaming, check out an eMachines 72xx model (A64, Radeon 9550, 2-3hrs batt) or any of the new notebooks featuring the GeForceGo 6600 128MB (Asus Z71V for example). Keep in mind if you want a true thin & light notebook, you don't be able to get great gaming for the most part.

I was looking at the 9300, I'm not seeing the 800 coupon though?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it! They call it the "Entertainment Powerhouse" correct? That is kind of what I'm looking for and the price is great! I just realized it does not include the 6800 though

Well I ordered one today. Only downfall might be the 512 memory but I think it will suffice. I got the ultra card and I got it for around 1350 so I hope, as many suggested, that it is worth it.
