laptop with wifi and 100mbit....

I have a laptop that has wifi and a 100mbit wired connection....

But for some reason whenever I have both connected, it seems to use the wifi over the faster, 100mbit wired line. Is there a setting in windows I can tell my pc the order to pick from or something? I know some software lets you, but I'm talking about ALL of windows...

You can change the interface metrics in the TCP/IP properties so that the wired has a lower metric than the wireless, and it should use the wired when available

Ah... so i make wired = 1 and wireless = 2... so itll choose the lowest #... sounds good, ill try it when i get home
