Does anything like this exist already?

Apparently there are rumors IBM is going to release a new laptop in October which features authentication through a fingerprint biometric scan. I wonder how much that'll cost...

This stuff has been around for years. I know that ASUS has built laptops for quite a while with a built in finger print login.

Yeah, they sell biometrics on ebay for like $35 just plug it into your usb port...

Yea it's been around.

Unfortunately two-factor authentication has still not matured to the point of complete effectiveness. If you boot up into safe-mode you can bypass two-factor solutions.
