I want to buy a laptop for my wife that she can use at school. She also plays games like Sims 2 and other less intensive games. Which is more powerful, the ATI HD4350 card or the Intel 4500MHD integrated? Common sense makes me think that the card is better but I know that it's old and the Intel is pretty new so I don't know.

Just about any modern dedicated GPU is far, far better than Intel integrated. By the way, do you mean 3450? I haven't seen any laptops with 4350s.

^ Very true. Just about any laptop with nV 9500GT M/8600GT M or ATi 3450, or even better 9600GT M will be excellent (assuming your wife doesn't play Crysis or FarCry 2 )
