hi, i have a toshiba laptop, and the video card on it is a nvidea gfroce 4 420 go card. is there updated drivers for laptop vdeo cards, and dose it make any improvments.? sorry iv never done anything with laptops so im not sure if there are actuall drivers you can up date on these things.

so do i just got to the same page as i would if i had an nvidea card in my desktop?

ok thanksl..

Well theres a couple things you could try:
1. Toshiba might have driver updates for you at their site.
2. Go to Link and see if nvidia has your video card setup.

if you dont know what to do at nvidia's site, just say which windows version you are running and I get you to the right page.

well my other problem is that i dont have the cd software that came with this laptop? im not sure where my dad has his stuff for it right now. so anyways, im running xp home on this laptop.

ok well here is what the computer says under device maniger. for display.

NVIDIA Geforce4 420 Go (Toshiba)

Driver provider: NVIDIA
Driver date: 4/19/2002
Driver version: 2.8.4.6

oh i notice there is a roll back driver. dose that work all the time? so if i update my drivers and it dosent work, do i load a safe mode or somthing and then roll back?
