I read your post before you deleted it, and I don't see any reason that you won't be able to get HDMI to work by changing some settings. Your TV likely has scaling settings hidden within the menus. What's the model number of the TV? Also, there might be some overscan options in the Nvidia control panel. You want overscan in there to be 0%.
