Laptop to HDTV connection help please!

I was hoping that someone could recommend the best way to connect my Gateway T-6345u laptop to my Panasonic TH-50PX75U plasma HDTV, for both audio and video. Any suggestions?

What kind of outputs do you have on that laptop? DVI-out, VGA-out, HDMI-out or a combination?

Optimal = HDMI Out
Next Best = RGB out to RGB in on TV with Phono (Headphone) out to RCA (Red/White) on TV for sound

The Panasonic plasma is 720P (1280x720), and searching Panasonic's website and reviewing the manual reveals it doesn't even have a VGA input. Since the laptop (according to Gateway's website) has HDMI output, use that.
