my roommate is having problem with his laptop screen. sometimes he turns it on, the screen stays on for 2 seconds before it flickers out. and he has to hit the base of the laptop at a certain spot to get it to work. any ideas? thanks
Ditto that. I have seen many laptops (not just one brand either) where the connection from the inverter cable to the inverter becomes corroded. I am thinking that the corrosion is occuring from arcing due to a loose connection. Reseating the cable a few times and then bending the pins on the inverter should prevent it from happening again.
