Which processer would you use for a notebook

AMD Athalon 2.0 GHz or a Pentium 4 2.2 GHz

And someone give me their take on a Compaq Presario notebook. I wouldn't use their desktop for much more than a boat ancor but I hear their notebooks are second to none. Any comments?
 
I'll cut you a little slack since you're a no0b, but couldn't you read the big stickied thread at the top?

PLEASE DO NOT POST INTEL VS AMD THREADS HERE.

Your question is also irrelevant, as a notebook isn't a built-to-order thing usually, you have to pick from certain models.

And finally, go post the Presario question in the Small Form Factor / Laptops forum.
