I bought a laptop but my browser and my laptop screen keeps on blacking out and the people who sold me on Lenovo Concept Store Festival Mall & PC Express didn't fix the problem. Is it the laptop or an OS problem? Coz Im not getting a good resolution from their CS people

Could just be the GPU driver. Doenload the latest driver and run ddu to purge all of the old drivers and install the one you download.

If it's still acting up return it as it's likely a hardware issue and that will get expensive.

My laptop has been reformatted by the store I bought it but I still experience the blackout browser and screen. They don’t seem to want to replace it with a new laptop. Idk whats the problem and how to fix it i thought it can be fix with reformat so what to do now if thats the case is it as good as trash?

If the country you bought it in has reasonable laws for protecting customers in the event of a product failure within warranty, you take it up with the company and don't take no for an answer. Quote the laws in question if need be.

Or they can replace it with new or just refund right? Whats so hard in returning the customers money after selling a damaged laptop right? or should we make it big but the store is low and small?

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer

UK law says that if an item fails within warranty in a way that can't reasonably be caused by the user, then the manufacturer has to repair or replace it for free. I say manufacturer but in my experience, if the laptop is problematic from the start, it tends to be the supplier that replaces it.

In UK a refund isn't an option unless the repair/replace isn't feasible.

I had a similar problem with one of my Intel IGPU-based laptops. Screen would just keep going to sleep, and then waking up suddenly, while you are trying to use it.

I live with it for now. I semi-assume that the problem is with the "lid switch" or it's associated wiring. The laptop was never disassembled by me, but it could be a refurb.
