IBM thinkpad.

I'd trade my compaq 2190 for a thinkpad with half the stats anyday
(except the a-series, that is...)

75% of them have needed motherboard replacements. This is with general use and most just sit on the desktop all day.

Dell's and Toshiba's are what we buy now.

Yep, I get lots of clients with A Series needing motherboard replacements (usually the video card goes). Also, I've gotten several LCD failures in X series.
