Now, firstly, you're all wondering why the hell i want to do this. I'm trying to build the keyboard and touchpad into a desk of mine, (for no other reason than i think it would be cool). I'm thinking it would be easier to put a laptop keyboard/tp in a desk than you're average keyboard, and am willing to let go of my keypad, but i'll be making it flush with the desk, so that i can just put another kayboard overtop if i get annoyed.
If it makes much difference, im using compaq presario 1200 parts, and my computer is just your average p4 2.4GHz, 512MB, GF2 64MB(rock on), etc etc, not that my specs make much difference. I have a spare ps2 extension cable that i can hack up, and i'll get another one for the mouse if anyone thinks this will work.
I know that trying to attach a laptop monitor to a desktop is an absolute b**ch, so if this is going to cost me big $$ then just a simple "dont" will suffice. And if anyone has come up with some super way to connect a laptop monitor to a desktop, then tell me too, cos i have one of those spare also.
