I was playing GTA on my laptop and for some reason the screen went blank and the computer restarted i ran Prime95 for 4Hrs and it went fine i have an MSI barebone laptop with Turion MT-37 2G of kingston ram ddr333 and MSI BT+wifi combo card and winXP PRO

if anyone knows wat is causing this issue please tell me
 
Maybe the system over heated? Did you check the temps when it restarted?

Edit: also, have you made sure to install all patches for the game and your
laptop's components?
