Apologies if this post is in the wrong section.

I have a HP probook 4520s, this model does not come with a express card slot or finger print reader. Could i take out the dvd writer and use that port to get usb 3.0? If so, how?
 
I don't know of any way to convert SATA to USB 3.0. The other way around is easy, but that doesn't help you.
