Laptop for gaming that you can play with in bed...

... as anyone ever gamed in bed? What would be the best laptop for such a situation?

Unless you've a hard surface, you're likely to overheat the laptop in short order.

That is just lazy. You sound like my roommate who has a desk and chair but set his laptop up on a tray so he can lay in bed and use it.

I would recommend something relatively inexpensive and not overly powerful...but then using Steam's in-home streaming.

I recommend whatever, as long as you can fit it in a small pad and has the vents in the back or in the opposite of your mouse hand, i have a 17" qosmio that i use with a logitech pad, it has a retractable mouse pad, it's decent to use in the bed, it doubles as a hand warmer in winter since the vent is in the right side
