Could I get opinions on this laptop. I am looking for one that isn't too expensive and doesn't weigh too much. THis one weighs 5.3 pounds but it seems like a really good deal. Feedback would be great.

Thanks

I've got a a Satelite 2805-S204 and my wife has an 800 series Tecra. As far as satifaction, I would recommend this rig. That price seems very good given the $ we paid.

Good luck.

If you are thinking of buying THAT one off Ebay I would be VERY careful. That seller has 0 feedback. I wouldn't buy a laptop from an auction site again. It's just too much of a gamble IMO.

Just out of curiosity, how can you tell it is a good deal??? It started at $800 and the reserve is higher (you don't know what it is). Also no one has even bid on it. It could get bid up to $5000. (though not likely) If you search completed items you will see they usually go for about $2000. See here

Ouch. The seller's in Spain and only accepts money orders/cashier's checks and wire transfers. It's just screaming scam. :( Stay away!

The only way I'd purchase a big ticket item off of a 0 feedback seller is if they accepted PayPal. You're still taking a risk, but PayPal will help you recover your funds if you're scammed. Either way, always follow your common sense.
