My best friend has a laptop that kept dying everytime he turn it on. It was so bad at one time, evertime the os (xp)load up, 5 minutes later the computer just turns off. He got a warranty from best buy and best buy said they replace the whole thing except the monitor (motherboard, mouse/touchpad, hardisk, memory). Last night we were testing the laptop after he picked it up from best buy and things seems to be ok. That is until we loaded age of myhthology and play a lan game. We played maybe for 10 minutes and his computer crash. This time, everything just locked up. He was so mad, and brought it back to best buy the way it is (still lock up in the middle of the game). The people at best buy told him that his computer cannot handle the game because it only has 8mb of video memory, and the game require at least 16mb. I told my friend that is not possible, worst come to worse if his computer only has 8mb memory the game would be sluggish, but that is not the reason why it crash. The only thing installed on the laptop was the OS (from restore disc) and then the game. What do you guys think about his situation ?? Best buy took his laptop again which he just got it back from them after about 2 months of service and he is not too happy about it. Any info is appreciated !!
