laptop cooling pad

I'm not sure whether this should be in cooling, peripherals, or laptops so I'll post it here and it can be moved wherever it should go.


I'm buying my girlfiend a cooling pad for her laptop and I'd just like some suggestions. she has this laptop: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-5535-5452.../dp/B00271RFDK

The screen is 15.6 inches. what she is really looking for is something she can keep on her lap so it will cool her laptop still even while she is in bed. anyone have a suggestion? I can't tell these products apart and any advice on how to differentiate these products would be great.

i bought this one and it lowers my temps 3-5c when placed on a desk, i dont know how effective it would be on your lap. I also have a 15.6" laptop.

I bought this back when it first came out 2.5 years ago and cost 58$ to import from Europe 😛.

It uses a breath the back and blow upwards design so that you cna use it in your lap, bed, wherever. Not the stupid fans under a tilted metal backing thing like most cooling pads (which totally defeats the purpose of the laptop in the first place). Works excellent for bed use. My laptop is sitting on mine right now because this thread caught my attention between rounds of UT2004.
