Laptop Computer recommendations?

I've been looking at purchasing a laptop computer, more specifically the new centrino models. What are some recommended brands/models that have been mentioned here if any? The dells look great except I really dont like their weird screen resolutions (1400x1050) ugh.

any help would be appreciated.
 
You could try the Toshiba Centrino line. Toshiba makes great laptops that are always feature filled and quick!
 
If you go Dell, be very careful. I ordered one for my dad and had to go with their Inspiron line because that was the only line that you could select a 5400RPM HD with (I'm not sure if that's important to you or not). I've heard good things about the Toshiba laptops as well...
 
The Dell Latitudes also offer a 5400RPM HDD option on select models.

XGA = 1024x768
SXGA = 1280x1024
SXGA+ = 1400x1050
UXGA = 1600x1200

Powernotebooks.com sells a lot of Sager notebooks (sagernotebook.com), and they are top notch units.
