Laptop CDROM to DVD drive upgrade?

Ok, so my girlfriend has a HP Onibook XE3, and she is looking to upgrade the cdrom on it to a dvd drive so she can watch movies while travelling and stuff. Is this going to be extremely expensive? Where would I look for a drive like this?

Also, it would be nice to get a DVD/CDRW combo drive, but this would probably be too expensive, any thoughts?

combo would be expensive, straight dvd wouldnt be too bad. i've worked in the omni book xe3 casing, and it takes a bit of work to swap out the drive.

I've looked all over and all i can find is a dvd drive for all the other models of the omnibook, nothing for the xe3.
Does anyone know where i can find one that will be compatible with the xe3?
