What is the life of a 4-cell vs 6-cell battery on a average laptop?

With normal features (wifi, decent brightness, etc)
 
Probably about 1.5 to 2 hours vs. 2.5 to 3 hours. There are a lot of other vaiables involved. CPU, OS, type of HDD, amount of RAM. If you make all of those the same, then . . .

assuming same hardware. different cpu/drives chipsets use different power. lcd lit by led uses less power also.
