hello everyone,

i want to get my uncle a laptop bag for christmas. i went to circuit city, because it was the only place i had seen them before, and everything there seemed semi-cheesy. the main brand they carried was targus. my uncle is an executive, and there was nothing functionally wrong with the targus bags, but they seemed more like high school/college bags, than professional bags.

can anyone point me in the direction of a bag that has a professional look and is functional? either a certain brand or particular bag, i would appreciate it. i'd like the messenger bag style, as opposed to one that looks like a briefcase.

thanks.

I use this bag for most local carries. I have the slipcase for trips involving air travel. It then just slips into my leather attache case. Pouch

You can look at more professional types of cases if you visit Office Depot, Office Max, or Staples. Circuit City is oriented towards kids and the "cool" market.

For more profesional looking cases I'd rec getting a Leather one as opposed to cloth. the previous posts suggestions are good ones for b&m locations to look at various cases.

Check out these Booq bags.
Not sure if it is an affiliate link, but I'm not the affiliate so I have nothing to gain. I knew this brand because I was going to get one for my notebook, then I decided I don't use it all that much outside to be worth spending so much for a bag. I searched booq on google and just clicked one of the results.
