Laptop Backpack

I need to get a laptop backpack that will hold my Dell 600m and maybe a few schoolbooks this fall. Does anyone have some suggestions? It will be replacing an APC TravelPower breifcase style case.

Thanks,
Jason

I recommend the Gregory Beta.
They're more well known for their internal frame packs, but the beta is a very nice backpack with a built in padded laptop compartment.

I like the Targus also. I bought a Matrix one and it works great plus has plenty of room to store other stuff.

Picked up a saddle bag that converts to a backpack. Makes taking it to work a little more professional. Picked it up at CC I thikn it is made by Kensington.

I just put the thing in a sleeve and toss it in my northface. Gotta be slightly more careful with it when putting the backpack down and whatnot but it's worked pretty well for me. =)

I have a Targus RakGear bag, and know a few others that have them too. 2 years old, and still in great condition, other than one of the buckles that got stepped on (but still works, and it's not an essential part of the bag by any means). The internal rack thing is neat. My bag fits under an airplane seat when full.. barely 😉

I too have a Targus T-Lite. I love it. My Dell Inspiron 8600 fits nicely and it's a pretty big laptop. I also like the cinch straps on the sides to secure the load, nothing ever shifts around in my backpack.

Plus, the price is right. $30 at Circuit City.
