Laptop - AMD64?

it should actually be alittle better if its an MT because according to AMD specs it pull 23 watts vs centrino 25 watts...

Sadly, in the reviews i've seen, the Centrino (Pentium-M) is still mobility king.

They still are better for battery-life anyway.

If AMD can actually get the Turions out though , they should be priced better than Centrinos most likely.

could you point me to the reviews please?

Overall, the Centrino-based laptops should have longer battery lives than the Turion-based ones. There was a review in PCMag about an Acer laptop with the Turion platform, but it only had like a 3 hour battery life. Turion isn't very mature yet, so I'd go with a Centrino-based laptop right now.
