Mkay let's say you're renting a floor in a house from the home owner. The home owner must go out of their way to come into your rented living area, and never has to do so. They have their own exit out of the house. The only thing you need to come out of your floor for is a bathroom, which is located on another floor -the floor that the home owner lives in, which you are welcome to use since you do not have one.
Regardless of how many times you ask of them, they refuse to stop leaving for work in the morning via your floor because their front door scrapes along the carpet and is pulling little pieces of carpet out -maybe one every other day or so- and the home owner doesn't want to ruin carpet that was installed 10 years ago. Also, home owner comes home from work and enters the house through your floor.
Homeowner also decides that they do not like where you've put things in your floor, so they start moving things as they see fit, right in front of you, saying that it's inconvenient for them to take one step to the left to avoid it on their bi-daily trek through your floor. You confront them about it and they tell you that they don't care. You tell homeowner that you pay rent and that you would appreciate some respect and privacy and that this is your floor, not theirs -but homeowner says that they don't care because it's their house. You retort that you would rather live in a bush than be treated like this. Now homeowner is being immature and giving you the silent treatment and being all condescending (maybe THAT'S where I get it from) and curt.
What would you do? Move out or tell homeowner to fvck off and keep paying rent while putting up with their bullsh|t?
