gonna put in an offer to buy a land, what are some of the common contingencies on the offer? Anything to watch out for? any tips are greatly appreciated!
 
I think you should look at the topography test, and show it to your builder before you purchase.

though, I am not well informed when it comes to buying land. this is probably something you should definately do.
