Lancer evo7 vs. WRX

Wow. That was awesome. Too bad the WRX isn't offered in an STi (280 hp) trim here. Oh well...that slide he did at the end was awesome. Then he just starts talking to the audience immediately after...like it was just a Sunday drive. Sweet, sweet cars.

Oh, and the Subaru sounds really nice too. You can get the STi muffler & tip as an option on the US WRX. 🙂

the video is in MPG and is only 14MB and around 2:25 min in length..I's not complete because they never showed the WRX in it.

<< I's not complete because they never showed the WRX in it. >>

uhh... yeah it is. He talked about it. He was commenting how its still gray market material =].

I'd take the WRX STi over the Evo VII, but if the Evo VII gets to the US, it'd be a tough decision between the US-spec WRX & Evo VII (assuming they keep it the same) for me.

yeah, can someone explain why when they come to US, they are all! downgraded into weaker version of japanese models?! im talking about WRX, TypeR, NSX .. all of em! why do they make em weaker?

<< they are all! downgraded into weaker version of japanese models?! >>

and not just japanese, same thing with European and even Italian (Ferraris).

One big reason is US regulations. 2nd reason is I think the execs aren't sure they can sell the top-of the line performance model here in the states.

<< didnt d/l the movie.. but the link is to a .mpg, not a .mov quicktime.. >>

Hey, nice catch! Damn the quicktime player. Changed it back to media player now. First time you gave a positive input in a car thread Valhalla. That's the way to go!
