Is it just me or does it look like his tire blew out, causing him to lose control coming out of that turn and then hitting the gaurd sideways and hence flipping?

I think he's fine, if he had that car outfitted properly I think that is very survivable.

How can you compare the two, drifting is for show no one in their right mind would drive like that in a race intentionally. But it can be fun to watch if your into it.

Exactly. That's what I've been saying. Drifting is an EXHIBITIONIST sport, done for FUN. And that video was fun to watch until it flipped.
