Lance Reddick, an actor known for his performance as Cedric Daniels on "The Wire" and for his work in the "John Wick" franchise, has died, according to his representative, Mia Hansen.

He was 60. Hansen said Reddick passed away suddenly on Friday morning “from natural causes.”

Bought tickets to watch John Wick: Chapter 4 this coming Friday, March 24th.

I was planning to watch The Wire soon. People keep telling me it is good. Just haven't found the time.

He was great as Charon in John Wick. He really helped add depth to that movie. I was hoping for an expanded role for Lance Reddick in the John Wick movies. Charon totally kicks ass.

For me, Reddick will always be synonymous with Destiny — he was Commander Zavala. The role showcased his range, too... he could be serious and play the straight man in a funny situation.

He certainly died far too soon. At least we'll have John Wick Chapter 4 and a few other projects to continue his legacy.
