I think Julianne Moore was in a 10 year relationship with some guy, having a couple of kids and all.

Then they got married 🙂

So , just goes to show long term celebrity relationships can work, even without being married.

They never broke up a family. Kik left Lance because he was focusing too much on cycling, not because of infidelity. Jeez, people, get your facts straight before you start calling people asshats and losers. :roll: Lance, never left Kik. It was the other way around.

Sheryl Crow only came into the scene about a year and a half ago. Lance has been cycling for 10-12 years now (on the pro circuit), and has won 7 tours in a row. After the first 2-3 wins, Kik left him because he wanted to keep riding professionally.

:roll: That is the most transparent smear piece I've ever read about anyone short of Saddam Hussein.

Here's a news flash: Professional athletes, particularly ones with record-smashing accomplishments like Lance's, have egos. They are imperfect people. They do and say things that they may later regret.

The bottom line is that Lance Armstrong is one of the greatest athletes in history, and certainly has made the greatest comeback in the history of sports. I'm not sure why he engenders such bitterness in some people merely because he isn't a perfect human, and in any case I can't imagine anyone here will ever accomplish anything that approaches what he's done in the last 8 years. He isn't evil, nor does he deserve to have a bunch of jealous morons smearing him.

Amen to that brother.

+ Even Lance admits that when he was younger he was full of himself. He said that his cancer really humbled him a lot. BTW, most athletes who are very good must have ego, that is part of the reason they excel so well at what they do. Controlling that ego is the main thing that seperates cool people from jerks though.

I don't feel THAT bad for them in that they have two loving (not to mention incredibly athletic, reasonably bright, and highly physically attractive) parents and more money than they could ever spend. It's unfortunate being a child of divorce, but Lance seems to be a doting father, and their mother Kristen is, by all appearances, a lovely woman.

There is nothing to suggest that Sheryl Crow has anything to do with breaking up Lance's marriage, in any case.
