Lance accused of doping again

That's because all #1's are doping. It's part of the business for them to be one step ahead of the drug testers.

Nice timing to have this come out right before the Tour de France... $$$.

He was using cortisone cream in 1999... which is where the corticosteroid triamcinolone allegation came from 😕... and which he was in fact CLEARED to use by the UCI of course they don't say it like that.

Like i said... $$$.
 
I'd certainly rather this were not true - I guess we shall see. I think the use of performance-enhancing drugs, especially EPO, is almost universal at the highest levels of professional cycling, and Lance certainly wouldn't be the first star to use these drugs, but it would be a shame.
 
boy, that sure is a whole lot of evidence...

one guy that was on one of lance's teams said he 'felt pressue to dope'

another guy said that x drug was 'safe as orange juice'

yup, that proves it right there folks!

What I love most is that people are looking for evidence that he isn't doping. Hmm. Why don't you offer up some proof that you haven't had cocaine in your entire life? :|

If he can compete while high, more power to him. 😛

(I actually disagree with the last comment, drugs shouldn't be allowed in competitions, even if their usual effect is performance hinderance, its just fair.)
 
My understanding is that he Europeans really don't like him in the asepct that he kicks their butts too much and has a tendacy to show boat a bit while doing it. I am sure they would have done everything in their power to get him elminated from competition and obviously since they could not I am sure that speaks volumes about his alleged absuses. Also, just going on a limb here, some of his medications due to that entire cancer thing may appear to be illegal to other people. . . a lot of folks with cancer or allergies take steroid injections.

Lance uses an altitude tent, he doesn't need EPO. 😉

he is by FAR one of the most respected athletes in Europe

most people in the USA don't really follow Pro cycling so when there is a story about an American athlete they assume directly it's a Europe<>USA pissing contest.

In European (sport)papers doping in cycling is a hot topic and there is not a week without a story about this. In the last months there have been articles about French, Italian, German, Spanish and Belgian cyclists.

Lance is just a target just like all the other cyclists and this has nothing to do with Lance being an American
 
A lot of professional athletes are little b!tches!

We had a local mtn bike race last year, and in the pro class, a local guy got 2nd to Ryan Treborn (top rated mtn biker) ... and beat Rodney Reber (Trek Pro) ...

Rodney threw a hissy fit saying the local must have cut the course to beat him. Which is a complete crock, AND, Rodney was assessed a 30 second penalty for clipping this one section anyways.

Obviously you are a moron.

I have lived in Europe till my teenage years and even then Lance was one of the most respected, appreciated and cheered sportsman in Europe. I can certainly say he is far more respected in Europe than he is in U.S....

Heck, in Europe, I could check the sports section of the paper and there would be some cool article about Lance everyday. Here I rarely see anything written&amp;said about him..
 
I came across this great quote from the immortal Bernard Hinault (himself one of the five 5-time Tour winners, Lance included) on Lance and his detractors:
