This is SAK, I know its been a while since I've posted but I couldn't resist this.

I wasn't able to make it to the Team Anandtech lan party this year :(. I'm hosting a pretty large (70+) ppl LAN in my home town at the end of June, so I wanted to corgially invite you all. I had a great time at the last TA LAN and would love to see any of you guys if you can make it!!

SAK-Lan.com Link <---tons of info, check it out.

It's going to be a 2 night lan (sleep at the venue or at a hotel, your choice) going from Friday, June 28th at 7:00PM to noon on Sunday the 30th. The cost is $30 at the door, $25 prepay and includes continuous snacks, drinks, and 2 full meals (lunch and dinner on saturday). Gotta bring ur own money for other food, we'll be doing food runs and such.

It's looking like it's gonna be a great lan; it's being held at my school in the gym (large screen, expensive projector, nice sound system, spacious quarters, etc). We're working on activities planning and stuff like that right now. The network is going to be made up of stacked Cisco 3500XL series switches (incredibly fast). Come, game, eat, drink non-alcoholic bevs, share/leech files (at your own legal risk), watch movies, etc. Hope some of you can make it!

Fell free to PM me, respond in this thread with questions, email me Here etc etc if you have questions :)

P.S. - Feel free to bump This Off-Topic Thread if you want ;)

peace, lates, gogogo TA

Edit: fixed the date :)

I'd love to come telefrag you silly, but according to Rand McNalley.com:
Estimated Total Driving Distance:
987 miles

We'll have to plan the 4th annual Mid-West Drive/Fly-in a little farther east next year.

Sorry SAK.
That's the weekend of my Birthday and I already have plans made up. I would really like to be there but it's not looking like it's going to happen.

Have fun all and show off Anandtech with pride with all the kiddies. :)
