LAN Modem Solution

I work of a company that provides remote, web-based power system monitoring services for an array of different applications. Unfortunately, the LAN Modem that we've been using for monitoring sites that only have dial-up access available has been discontinued. These LAN Modems essentially consist of a 4-port hub, and an integrated 56k modem that is then used to connect the network to the internet.

Upon searching for a replacement product, I found that pretty much all of the competing products have also been discontinued. The product we've been using is the ZyXEL Prestige 100MH PSTN Router/Hub. Unfortunately, the only replacement I've been able to find is cost-prohibitive. I need a solution for under ~$600. The Cisco 803 is the only remaining solution that I've been able to find. Unfortunately these devices carry a $900 price tag. If anyone is aware of a more reasonably priced solution, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John

I have a Netgear RM 356 that meets the description of your ZyXel device. I believe I got it for less than $400, perhaps less than $300. I'm not real well pleased with its willingness to accept any grade connection at all, and it doesn't have any on-screen icon to see what speed it's connected at (all too frequently 31.6 and 28.8!)
