LAN Instant messanger?

Anyone know a good instant messanger for Lan?

We basically need something to use to chat while using ad-hoc.

It relies on having a broadband internet connection. This way, the messenger program would be able to use P2P communication over the LAN.

Get Trillian 3, it supports Rendezvous on Windows. I've never tried it, but a buddy of mine swears by it.
