Laminate flooring

Any reason why I should spend the extra scratch on the 8mm planks for my office?

t&g plywood subfloor, if that matters.

if price diff isn't big get 8mm. I never saw 6mm but I love our 8mm ones. Been sturdy since day 1

Seems to be about double the price for the 8mm so far in my search.

8mm is more durable and I believe also doesn't sound as "hollow" when walking on it than the 6mm version. We're actually looking at buying 12mm laminate. Check out ifloor.com - I think they have decent deals.
