Lame Duck Xbox 360 owner?

OK, yeah I'm an old school PC gamer. I got myself and my 8 year old son a Xbox360 for Christmas, along with R6:Vegas. I'm quickly finding myself majorly missing the keyboard and mouse, and unable to control/aim in this (first person shooter). My son is even having a hard time, and kids, well, pick up controls a lot faster than us late 30 somethings....

Am I a lame duck, stuck with trying to practice, practice, practice until I can get this thing down?

I think as an accessory to the 360 some sort of wireless small keyboard and mouse would be great, but can't find any.....

I really don't want to miss out on other fps games.

Any hints?

keep practicing and you will get it. Its hard to get used to the controller when you are using the keyboard/mouse at work and are accustomed to it

It takes time. When I went from FPSs strictly on the PC to the game consoles it took a while.

There is supposed to be a product coming out that will allow mouse + keyboard use.

i hear ya, it was a MAJOR change from kb/mouse to controller. I was horrible at it for a few days. i mean really bad.

but it comes surprising quickly. I still get my butt handed to me, but I'm much better than I was. 🙂
