LaMar's vs Krispy Kreme

We don't have either where I live and I have never had either. However in the local paper today they said a LaMar's was going to be opening soon. They also quoted a taste test involving Denver police and firemen that said they prefered LaMar's. Just curious for those of you you have tried both which do you prefer?
 
I have never had a LaMar's doughnut, but I can tell you that Krispy Kreme hot glazed doughnuts are one of my favorite foods in the world.

 
LaMars were very good but I havent had them in a few years. They are definately worth trying. Who knows, you might like them better than KK (gasp).
 
Krispy Kreme sucks..

What's so special about them anyway? They taste exactly like the 10 cent donouts at my local shop rite taste.

Dunkin Donuts is still the best.

Exactly. Krispy Kreme doughtnuts = HOT glazed. If you haven't had a hot glazed doughnut from KK, then you haven't had a KK doughnut.

When I drive by and I see that HOT sign....yummmmm. Hot KK just kick butt.

I have no problems with DD or any other Donuts, but there's just something about a Hot KK

Heheh.. My wife knows that if we drive by the KK and the sign is on that we are stopping. MMmmm.. 😀
 
you know, all you have to do is stick your grocery store bought donuts into the microwave for 20 seconds, and you have basically the same thing.

No it isn't. I have tried. Hell, I have even tried re-heating KK doughnuts that were purchased hot and it wasn't the same.
