Great game. Really shoves it to the Laker and Kobe haters. All top teams are leading 3-1 in the series. I guess it's pretty obvious at this point who will be playing who in the conference and finals. I really need to switch teams. Lakers keep giving me a heart attack by the way they play  I should just be a grizzly fan. That way I am sure to be heart broken before the game starts :)

OMG.. Kobe amazes me everytime he plays.. *bows down*

that game rocked so much. even if the spurs lost, the fans certainly got entertained.

For the next game the Spurs should come out in dresses. They played like they squat to pee.

Amazing the difference between last year and this year. last year, the Lakers just embarassed the spurs, blowing them out by 22 points per game. this season, they let the spurs think they have a chance, then just come back and tear their hearts out. i love it

jhill, okay took me awhile to understand what you're trying to say. if you're accusing me of riding the Lakers bandwagon then i don't know what more to say. i live in Los Angeles, I grew up watching the Lakers (magic johnson/kareem) era, always loved magic johnson and lakers, and now i'm supporting my home team. this is what i'm supposed to do right? or am i missing something here?

Well it would have been a bigger lead if Shaq was playing to full potential. He's pretty quiet thus far.

Well squating to pee would require effort. So I wouldn't even go that far.

well he IS carrying most of the burden and everytime they lost, i'm pretty sure he feels as if he's somehow at fault. i feel sorry for him because he's really modest and great. too bad he's just on the wrong team :)

Yeah he should be on a team like the Kings. If he were the lakers would never win another championship in the Kobe/Shaq era.

I don't like the Lakers but I hope they pull the Spurs life support plug on Tuesday.....The Spurs are horrible to watch, especially in the 4th quarter.....(actually, I think the term is choker)

the refs sure called a much tighter game than they have been. and the spurs didnt choke, they just got dominated by the stiffling lakers defense. the lakers routinely shut down opposing teams in that fashion, and thats why they lead the league year after year in opponents fg%

as much credit as the Lakers defense deserves, the Spurs definitely added to the lose with their choking. their 4th quarter output was doubled by that of the Lakers. how many shots, wide open, did Daniels, Ferry, Smith miss? Duncan and his missed free-throws down the stretch? they got outrebounded offensively by almost 2x, so that's tightening up, not hustling, not just defense by the lakers

in other words, playing too much like a team fearing losing, not to win (oft used cliche, but nonetheless ;))

hogwash! the lakers FORCED ferry, daniels ect to shoot cause they were playing great defense on duncan. the spurs were forced to take shots the lakers wanted them to take. the only choking that occured was when kobe and walker missed 4 straight free throws

this was just like game 2, the lakers turned it on and the spurs couldnt match the intensity. however the lakers fell just short in game 2

Lord, the Lakers represent all that is evil with the NBA. All you need is a 350 pound lumox with no skill to win you games. College Hoops > Professional Hoops.

Oh yeah and... go celtics! :p

In defense of the big guy and Kobe, they really weren't the guys who stepped up in the fourth quarter last night.... Derek Fisher, Rick Fox and Robert Horry really stepped up and hit some key shots towards the end of the game, Kobe and Shaq may be the go to guys and they may carry the team through the season, but if you can go something like 22-2 in the playoffs... it's not two guys that are doing it. How many teams have had a record in the playoffs like that previous to this laker team?
