pretty much. who are they going to use? walker? medvedenko? the laker front office has done terribly the past few years.

All the money goes to Shaq and Kobe... little left to sign any other players...

buss is cheap and unwilling to spend. or spends crappily, like the 40 mil invested in fisher and george?? you'd think in three years they could have brought in a better power forward than samaki.

Actually, Madsen earned his spot by playing very well and out hussling every laker during the last quarter of the season (his minutes paralleled with the Lakers late season comeback).

Actually, Madsen earned his spot by playing very well and out hussling every laker during the last quarter of the season.

Oh I know he works hard, no argument about that here... He worked hard last yr too (when he was given the chance to kill time)... But aside from that, I just dont see him improve that much... but yet I see the Lakers use him much more this season...

Good, i thought i was the only one that hated Bill Walton. He talks like he has a speech problem. He is definitely always favouring the Lakers. I still like the Lakers though. They make things entertaining to watch. Believe me, if the Lakers went out, the ratings would seriously go down.

Lakers lack depth this year and a team they should be whippin' is sticking right with them. Maybe some like Malone or Stockton will join the Lakers just to win a championship. This year looks iffy for the Lakers though. Maybe next year.

i dont have the issue in front of me... but he said walton was an idiot... and he said the team pulls pranks on each other like finagle a team mates room key from the front desk, go take a #2 in their bathroom, dont flush and leave the room.

I know noontime is early on Sunday for Angelinos, but the Lakers (and to a degree, the crowd) better wake up soon if they want to extend their season. So far, they're sleep-walking through the second half and keeping it close. If KG and the T-Wolves could put together a good run, it would be lights out.
