You're blind if you think the refs had anything to do with the Lakers' win today. KG missed free throws and the Twolves simply didn't play well in the 4th. Game over.

On another note, anyone else think Madsen is worthless after he got those two offense rebounds and two free throws in the 4th quarter? Madsen's defense and hustle are awesome, he just needs to work on his offensive game.

What game are you watching? Garnett couldn't have illegally bump-screened George more obviously.

Well...Garnett pretty much blew it at the end. So not like him either. He was 7-7 on free throws before that. Oh well, i'm liking this series.

I'm sure you noticed, but Madsen doesn't have any game. 🙂 Funny thing is he's a gamer compared to Samaki Walker (who makes over $4 mill to ride the pine, I think).

I know it's the playoffs, but I think they play Madsen for PR/marketing as well. His hustle has won a lot of fan support, although I personally think he's good enough to be a benchwarmer for any team in the league.

Jackson considers Horry too old to regularly play much more than 30 minutes a game (and they think he's better as a reserve), so it's either Madsen or Walker. Pick your poison. As much as I think Madsen is junk, his junk way outshines Walker. His overachievement and effort are definite pluses for team chemistry. Also, Jackson is still experimenting with his line-up; he doesn't appear comfortable with any particular set of personnel yet. How else do you explain Madsen (and Pargo) seeing action in playoff crunch time?
