GG! It's a shame I had to folow the game on the radio since I have no cable.

Anybody know how the playoffs are being televised? Is gAyBC going to air it? Whats sad is that even when they do, they ruin the game w/ their damn camera angles and Bill Walton. And everyone thought NBC wasn't doing a good job, but man has it gotten worse...

as long as the lakers make the playoffs (and of course they will), they are the team to beat, so what do you have to worry about? :)

It looks like the tides have turned.

Throughout their 3 season reign, the Lakers were known for the crunch time performances. They just manhandled everyone when the game was dwindling down. But tonight, everyone saw how the kings are becoming the more clutch team. The King's only had momentum in the 1st quarter. After that, the Lakers slowly but surely reduced the lead. Going into the 4th, things looked great for the Lakers, especially going into the quarter where they are best. But not against the kings...they showed who performs better when the game is on the wire, and the best team won.

GO KINGS!!!

I'm pretty sure TNT will be doing some of it at least. From what I remember from their commercials, they'll be doing one of the conference finals (can't remember which one, maybe both?). I know ABC has the NBA finals locked up. Not sure how the first round will be done, maybe something between TNT/ESPN/ABC. Someone fill in the details. :)

The Lakers never had the momentum really as can be seen by their shooting percentage. Offensive rebounds can only compensate so much. Kobe had a very bad shooting night, and 18 team turnovers also. I don't see either team having an advantage over the other and one being more clutch than the other at this moment. The playoffs shall be very interesting.

I agree, it is nice to see them maturing.
After this win the Lakers might talk trash and the Lakers fans will talk trash, but that only means they have the Kings on their mind.
The Lakers and their fans know they aren't invincible anymore and that the Kings have a legitimate chance of knocking them out of the playoffs.
Say what you will about the Kings, but anyone that isn't tainted by a team bias knows the Lakers have a chance of getting beaten by the Kings in a playoff series.

Well my point was that ever since the 1st quarter, the Lakers slowly reduced the King's lead. Sure it was slow, but they still cooled off the King's. The Lakers were trailing by 15 in the 1st quarter, yet they had the lead i nthe 3rd. Seems like that would be a good reason for having momentum.

And yes, one team may not have an advantage over the other in clutch situations, but back in the day the Laker's were ALWAYS clutch in the 4th and the Kings would choke big time. But recently things have changed drastically.

Needless to say, if the King's meet the Lakers in the playoffs, I might just have a heart attack
