trmiv: I totally agree. I predicted a split (ask my friends, really!). Lakers (esp. Kobe) play better on the road and I like their chances at Arco. I wish George could of stepped up and had a big game but oh well.

Kobe was still weak from the food poisoning but that's not why they lost. Lakers always mail in the first half and you can't do that against the Kings.

And Jackson, damn it! Make your money and adjust! Don't give Webber wide open shots! This is the third game in a row. Wtf?!

Combine that with the fact that the Kings so far are unbeaten on the road in the playoffs and I don't blame ya for feeling that way. :)

I'm not saying the Lakers can't win game 4 at home, I think they will. But, I just like the attitude of the team better on the road. Even during the regular season, they would struggle for a few games at home, then a big 5 game road trip would come up, and they would rally around each other, and play awesome. They get waaaay too passive at home. Probably too many "I'm just here to look good" stars at the games. They need to let the REAL FANS like ME sit courtside, I'd act a fool all game. :D

Put me courtside and I'll pretend to be a LA fan bigtime. Put me next to Jack and I'll wear my clown wig and hold up a 'John 3:16' sign. :)

Yup, the Lakers need more of those fans at court side.
You know,
the fans who tear 1/2 the city and burn down a police car when their team wins
the fans that totally boo their team when they're down dispite their team already
having won them the two previous championships, but hey they're right back up cheering when
a miracle is brewing, but doh then they leave early when the miracle falls short.

Sure are some cool fans, they should get a football team.

I dunno. If you paid a huge hunk of change to watch your home team get slaughtered, you'd get pissed too. Plus it's all for the fun :)

I suppose, but I don't think there are too many teams in the nba that does that to their own team especially after they
won you the last two championships. I mean, da Bulls had their off days too, but they were never booed.

kings have been sucking in the last 3-4 minutes, especially considering that both shaq and kobe and are in major foul trouble so early.

You gotta hand it to the Lakers. Most teams wouldn't be nice enough to let Kings build up a big lead in the first half, just to give the illusion that they stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning! :D
