Laing D5 missing speedswitch

So I recently bought watercooling parts and have recieved and inspected most of it, not tested however.

However it seems the D5 pump is missing the red circle speed switch on top of pump, instead there is a hole and in the hole there is a white square with what looks like a red pointer.

so my hope is that the switch has with time had to been removed and that the speed is adjustable with a long thin screwdriver?

It is a hole and with a flash light I can see a white square, looks like there is something like a red arrow pointing towards level 2

looks like the little red adjustor broke off/fell off. If new I'd return it, unless it is easily adjustable with a screw driver

I think there is poor QC on that switch. I just bought the same pump recently, and it was the Vario model with speed adjust, I went to use the switch and heard a pop and it fell right out :\

I looked into the opening and saw the same you see with the small red cross. I opened it up and worked a small groove into the remnants of red plastic where the switch connected and then used a small screwdriver to adjust it to the maximum setting.

Certainly not ideal, but it worked.
