The new stuff still has the light and sweet characteristics but the old style is remarkably complex for a young whisky. If you like the new style I'd highly recommend picking up a bottle of the old style if you come across it.

I have to admit to an affection for both, but a gentle preference for Talisker and Balvenie Portwood 🙂
