lag only when playing on battle.net

I'm on a network using a DLINK DI 524 router. Two computers are connected to it via CAT5 cables. And at the busiest time, there are an additional four computers connected to it via wifi - 6 computers in total.

Everything works perfectly fine except for when I'm playing Warcraft3 on Battle.net. My game will always, without fail, lag very badly - sometimes to the point where I'm disconnected from the game, but not disconnected from Battle.net. I'll just get kicked back into a channel. I'm using one of the wired computers to play. I also tried hooking up my cable modem directly to the wired PC that I play on and I had no lag. This leads me to believe that the problem is with the router.

Any ideas on what I can do? Port 6112 (the port that bnet uses) is open on the router. Thanks!

Any time I had this kind of problem with Bnet it was usually fixed with a different firmware flash. However, I don't know anything about your specific router so I can't give you specific advice.

I'm running the latest firmware on the router. So unless the firmware just sucks, it must be something else?

Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Unless your other computers are heavily dependent on network, find a different and free hub to use it in, a different modem maybe?
